Hey, be careful, those japanese girls can get crazy.
Half the reason I went. The other half was the food. Both were delicious. ^__^
Japan was a blast. I didn't want to leave, and I'm really wanting to actually learn enough Japanese to be able to go back and stay longer without needing a translator/guide with me everywhere. If anyone else goes, I highly highly recommend going to southern Japan, and _not_ to Tokyo or the big cities. Kumagun was unbelievably gorgeous, the people were friendly, the neighborhoods are nice, and if you really have a need for city sight-seeing, Kumamoto is a pretty big city - bigger than Seattle, at least.
PS If, the night before your 8am plane trip home, they want to take you drinking, don't say yes. I woke up Sunday morning still drunk. Sake + bourbon = weeeee! 1500 yen (~$15) for all you can drink at karaoke is a dangerous if good deal.

PPS I think I have a Harry Potter-esque scar on my forehead thanks to one of the core axioms of Japanese architecture: all people are under 6' tall. I hit my head on almost every freakin' doorway I went through.
PPPS The funniest thing you will ever hear in your life is a Japanese chick at the movie rental shop saying "Indiana Jones."
